CMYK/RGB to Spot PANTONE Color - Pantone.com

How can I find a PANTONE match from RGB/CMYK/HTML/L*a*b* values?

At 12/11/2001 03:43 PM we wrote - Pantone does not publish defined matches from CMYK/RGB/L*a*b*/HTML to PANTONE Colors.

However, Adobe Photoshop, which supports both the CMYK and RGB color spaces and PANTONE Colors, can default to the closest PANTONE Color to a given set of CMYK or RGB colors. You can do this by cross-referencing the color with the Adobe Photoshop color picker. Please note, however, that such matches are mathematical, not visual, and should be relied upon as a starting point only. The appropriate PANTONE publication should always be consulted to view accurate color.

Please note that you must have the full version of Adobe Photoshop to do this, as Photoshop Elements does not provide native PANTONE Color support.
