color matching between digital & offset
"Developing realistic expectations about color matching is a snap with PANTONE solid to process guide"
Sabrina Petoletti Graphic Designer Watchdog Print Media
Watchdog Print Media, a printer located in Cypress, California, uses the PANTONE solid to process guide to as closely as possible match spot colors on the offset press to four color process on the digital press. "Due to tight turnaround times, we often run jobs on both digital and offset presses," said Sabrina Petoletti, Graphic Designer for the firm. "When I'm designing a piece that will be printed digitally, I refer directly to the Pantone Solid to Process Guide whenever I choose a PMS color. This is to make sure the color will be what I'm expecting when it's converted to CMYK."
