David Easton is one of the world's most sought-after interior designers. While he has made his name as a neo-classicist, his erudition of architecture and decoration is wide-ranging and continuing. David founded his own firm in 1972, and quickly gained recognition for his classically inspired, traditional interiors. Named to the Interior Design Hall of Fame in 1992, David has twice been presented with Classical America's Arthur Ross Award, and most recently, his peers honored him with the "Lifetime Achievement" award at London's Design & Decoration Awards.
"I used PANTONE 11-0616 TPX, a wonderful Pastel Yellow, for the living room of my country house in Haverstraw, New York. The room faces both north and south with 3 french doors opening onto an enclosed courtyard that is surrounded by 2 open porches with fireplaces, and opposite a pool and guest house. Pastel Yellow is a warm glowing color, day and night, summer and winter; it blends in perfectly with the yellow in the terra cotta floors and the natural color of the beams."
