Logistics & Fulfillment Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a Logistics & Fulfillment Manager that, along with other operational leaders, reports directly to the Director of Operations. This role supports daily production operations by ensuring the accuracy and on-time delivery of customer orders at the lowest cost possible. The primary job responsibilities are to formulate and execute a strategic plan for global logistics and fulfillment in support of Pantone’s business requirements and daily supervision of team of five that include Inventory Control, Assistant Supervisor and pick/pack/ship associates. Key objectives include ensuring Core Value Drivers (CVD)/KPI metric performance, maintaining and lowering costs while making improvements, and ensuring all internal & external compliance requirements.


  • Ensure zero OSHA recordable incidents.
  • Ensure the accuracy and on-time delivery of daily truck and parcel shipments.
  • Conduct daily management to monitor performance and use problem solving, Kaizen and Lean methods to drive continual improvement.
  • Manage a diverse team of logistics and warehouse personnel and establish staffing requirements to best meet the needs of the business.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and customers on logistics costs and process issues. Develop best practices, communicate and launch improvement initiatives to improve CVD/KPI performance and lower costs.
  • Analyze monthly freight spend to ensure that lowest cost options are used for all shipments. Perform provider RFQ’s for all modes and leverage Danaher rates to select carriers that provide the most economical shipment options.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy via cycle counting & annual physical inventory at a 99% accuracy goal. Use problem solving to identify temporary and permanent countermeasures for improvement.
  • Using cross-functional resources, conduct kaizen events to drive efficiency in order picking, packing, and shipping. Identify areas for improvement, research and propose technological advancements and create ROI for recommended investments.
  • Work with product planners and foreign warehouse entities to ensure proper inventory levels, on-time delivery to customers, and QIT metrics.
  • Complete relevant work as assigned and assist on special tasks as required.
  • Support internal teams with operational excellence.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • 3 plus years applicable experience with general logistics protocols including management, rate negotiations and lane management.
  • Detailed Knowledge of Global Shipping (Experience with all modes of transportation i.e. Ship, Air, LTL, FTL, Demonstrated expertise with Direct Import, Negotiation Skills, Understanding of NAFTA requirements, etc.).
  • Results and process driven; possess excellent organization, communication (written and oral), and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to negotiate, multi-task, and drive improvements.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with EXCEL, database analysis, and experience working with ERP/MRP systems.

Global Communications Manager

Job Purpose:

Lead Global Public Relations and Social Media for the Pantone brand, which includes three diverse business units: the Pantone Color Institute, digital and physical color management tools, and consumer lifestyle products

Job Description:

The Global Communications Manager will build the strategy and manage the execution of public relations (PR) and social media (SM) programming at Pantone. In this role, the Global Communications Manager will develop the global PR and SM strategy, execute that strategy in the US marketplace, and act as an advisor to regional teams (EMEA & APAC), who will execute that strategy in local markets. The Global Communications Manager will also lead key programs, including Pantone’s Color of the Year and Fashion Color Report, and build partnerships that will drive Pantone’s relevance in the marketplace. This role reports to the Global Director of Brand & Communications.

Strategy &Vision

  • Support the Director of Global Brand and Communications in developing and executing brand strategies that will generate revenue growth for the business:
    • Drive brand awareness, product awareness and purchase consideration among fashion, graphic and product designers
    • Elevate and standardizing the brand’s aesthetic and voice across all channels
    • Educate the design market on color management and Pantone’s value proposition
    • Promote Pantone’s diverse business units including the Pantone Color Institute, digital and physical color management tools, and consumer lifestyle products
  • Develop PR and SM strategies to drive the business, including proactive media pitches, social media influencer campaigns, and relevant industry partnerships.

Project Management

  • Act as the project manager for PR-focused brand projects, including Color of the Year and Fashion Color Report. Develop strategies to grow those programs and manage the cross-functional teams to execute 360 communications programs across channels: teams include PCI marketing, web, digital and creative departments.
  • Support team projects, such as new product launches, through the PR and SM channels by developing and executing strategies on-time and in-full.
  • Build brand guidelines and playbooks for regional team to adapt and execute locally.

Agency Partnership Management

  • Lead management of the brand’s US public relations and social media agency partners.
  • Act as an advisor to regional teams in selecting, training, and onboarding local agency partners (EMEA & APAC).
  • Build SM influencer strategy and oversee the selection of influencer partnerships in the US (provide input for the selection of regional influencer partnerships when needed).
  • Build PR partnership strategy with industry associations, media publications, and educational institutions. Advise and oversee the selection and promotion of global industry partnerships.

Metrics & Measurement

  • Measure, track, and optimize all communications programs to drive stronger revenue growth and continuous improvement within the organization
  • Lead the implementation of Danaher Business System tools including daily and visual management to create a results driven, transparent culture within Pantone
  • Present to senior leadership team at Pantone and Danaher as required

Team Building

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the organization, bringing ideas, energy, and structure to the team.
  • Support regional teams in key markets by providing thought leadership & training on best practices.
  • Develop and grow agency partners & consultants through structured feedback and stretch projects.
  • Work with cross-functional teams across product management, consulting, licensing and sales to develop public relations and social media strategies that strengthen 360 communications programs.

Education And Experience Required

  • 3+ years of public relations in roles with advancing responsibility
  • Understanding of US, European, and Chinese media practices a plus
  • Understanding of best practices in Instagram, LinkedIn, Weibo, and WeChat a plus.
  • Relevant experience in brand, fashion, graphic art, or design related industries required
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field required.

Product Manager, Fashion & Product Design

Job Purpose:

Lead product development and management for Pantone tools serving the global fashion design and product design markets, including beauty, home goods, and consumer durables, delivering new innovative product solutions and managing the health of existing Pantone color tools to drive sustainable growth.

About Product Management

Product management is responsible for managing the products and solutions that serve our customer today, while identifying the markets, trends, and technology that will meet their needs for the future. This dual mission requires attention and focus on winning in the market now while maintaining a long-term perspective on market forces, competitive landscape, and our sources of competitive advantage.

In this role, the Product Manager for Fashion & Product Design will focus on the products and solutions that support color selection, specification, and realization in the design process for the textile design and product development segments, with a focus on apparel and fashion accessories, soft and hard home furnishings, color cosmetics, consumer technology and durable goods.

The role and responsibilities within product management are dynamic and include: customer research and insights, competitive analysis, product mix management, product roadmap development, product design and packaging, pricing, and innovation launch management.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. New Product Development
    1. Collaborate with Market Intelligence and Trend Forecasting teams to seek consumer insights and define new product opportunities and requirements. Understand and prioritize the critical trends in colors, materials, and finishes in design. Understand and react to changes in design workflow, while accounting for regional differences globally.
    2. Maintain a pulse on the market through competitive analysis to develop a sustainable, differentiated strategic position in the market.
    3. Define a defensible and differentiated product offering that provides meaningful value for the consumer in the future. Build an innovation pipeline and roadmap for the next 5 years.
    4. Create and drive prioritized development of the physical product roadmaps. Partner with all relevant functions to manage product development of prioritized products across product design, pricing, operations, commercialization, and training. Lead development projects through the established innovation management process.
    5. Partner with the Pantone Communications, Sales, and Operations teams to manage product launches. Lead internal communication to key stakeholders about product launch timelines, pricing, and details. Build sales presentations and product demonstrations to support the launch of new products. Provide direction to marketing counterparts to ensure they create relevant and accurate materials that communicates key product features and value proposition across web, advertising, social media, sell sheets, trade shows, and other marketing channels.
  2. Product Line Health
    1. Develop pricing, revenue and gross margin forecasts based on market sizing and customer value. Manage monthly reporting and/or corrective actions.
    2. Manage revenue forecasting accuracy, product gross margin and quality metrics. Present results to senior leadership for review.
    3. Perform regular product-line reviews and problem solving initiatives to identify and correct gaps to plan.
    4. Co-ordinate with the service team to develop support services to increase customer satisfaction. Co-ordinate with the sales team to ensure proper channel management.

Key Technical Attributes:

  1. 4+ years of product management experience within the fashion/apparel industry or within a business serving the fashion/apparel industry. Other product categories (e.g. cosmetics or home goods) a plus
  2. Experience in product management or development at a color / trend company serving apparel
  3. Bachelor degree in Business, Industrial Design or Engineering. MBA a plus
  4. Ability to drive projects through a detailed product management process. Keen understanding of all aspects of the product lifecycle including market launch, sales forecasting, pricing, gross margin evolution and end-of-life management.
  5. Creativity to develop and deploy diverse problem-solving models, ability to build business cases through strong financial and analytical skills.
