An update to our Pantone community

Dear valued customer and partner,

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be top of mind globally, we would like to reiterate our commitment to you, our customers and partners from all over the world.

Pantone, and our parent company X-Rite, provide equipment, software, services and standards necessary for a broad range of customers – many of which operate in critical manufacturing industries, including food, beverage and consumer goods. We contribute to the ongoing operations of their facilities, and many consider us an essential supplier vital to getting their products to retail shelves.

We are committed to a cautious approach in running our business under these unprecedented circumstances, which are based on the latest advice from the World Health Organization, and we have implemented the directives of local governments in the locations where we operate. As a result, we have numerous measures in place to minimize risks to keep our entire community safe.

In Pantone’s main facility in Carlstadt, New Jersey, we have implemented a comprehensive work-from-home approach:

  • All commercial and operation associates who can work from home are working from home.
  • We remain operational with minimal staffing levels to provide essential customer support, maintaining safe social distancing and usage of appropriate PPE equipment.

Whether associates are working from home or on site, we have asked them to take every measure to protect each other and their families, including:

  • Frequent hand washing with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Use of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
  • Avoiding physical contact, including handshakes, with colleagues, clients and more generally.
  • Maintaining safe 6ft social distances from colleagues.
